I just got a hot tip that the Queers are playing Grand Forks soon, and are actually looking to play Canadian dates as well.
The thing is the Queers haven't been to Canada for so long that they don't have contacts to book shows for them. Enter your very green concert promoter Matthew J. Nicholson (that's me if you didn't know)who would be thrilled to bankroll a Queers show, but I am poor, very poor, so I have to gage the popularity of a Queers show in Winnipeg.
The reaction Rancid got at the MTS Centre worries me that it would sell badly at a place like the West End Cultural Centre. I don't know though.
If you are interested please comment, and let me know if you know others that would go to a Queers show for between $15 and $20.
