The Barrymores

From what we have been able to research the Barrymores started in 2001, and broke up somewhere in the spring of 2006.

I'm getting ready for the show, but the low down on the Barrymores is that they were arguably the premier ska outfit in Winnipeg when they broke up. Luckily Ian went on to front Subcity, which will not be playing on May 14, but is still active and creating a unique mix of tumes that started out ska and now sounds like some wild jazz, funk hybrid. Hopefully he will be at the Bacteria Buffet send off.

Jolene will be their with her spot on vocals, and wonderful stage presence. Her voice just makes the crowd get up and skank.

Skank with us all at the West EWnd Cultural Centre Saturday May 14, and relive Canada days of yester year. All the bands their were associated in one way or another.
