The first entry is dedicated to one of the best record labels ever to grace Winnipeg, Bacteria Buffet Records. This label has helped to bring the sounds of the Afterbeat, the Wedgewoods, and the Barrymores just to mention a few of the greats, but Saturday May 14 they will be putting on a concert extravaganza the includes the bands mention above as well as R.W.P.O, and Greg Crowe, to commemorate the passing of on heck of a ska label.
Get to this show at the West End Cultural Centre, because to get a spread of bands like this to come out of the wood work, not to mention retirement for a few that is pretty incredible, but that is the kind of thing that made this label awesome.
Winnipeg will be at a loss, but to mark the passing of an era War On Music presents the Bacteria Buffet countdown. Five blogs featuring five of the best artist to come off of the Bacteria Buffet label.
